Autotest
The aim of an Autotest is to manoeuvre your car around a memorised course, as quickly as you can, without hitting any markers. It’s all about car control. The driver with the quickest time, and the least penalties, wins

Rally
There are several different types of Rally events, but nearly all are a test of teamwork and navigation.
Often held on public roads, the winning crew (driver and co-driver) must complete the course, hitting each checkpoint or plot point, as quickly and accurately as possible.

Trials and Cross Country events are opportunities to trade tarmac for trickier terrain. Challenging routes are set out, often on hillsides – the question is is how far you can go, rather than how fast you can get there.
