Club Together: Dungannon Motor Club
In this Month’s Club Together segment, we hop over the sea to Northern Ireland to celebrate Dungannon Motor Club.
Formed in 1954, Dungannon Motor Club has an illustrious history. The Club quickly developed a reputation for itself by hosting navigational rallies and driving tests and 70 years on, is notorious for it’s social atmosphere and specialty in Autotesting.
Dungannon Motor Club is not only home to over 100 active and enthusiastic members, but also, our very own Volunteer of the Year and Club Secretary, Grace King. Grace has progressed from being a member in the early 2000s to become the driving force behind much of the Club’s organisation, and even a Clerk of the Course at the Motor Club’s charity AutoSOLO.
The Club truly embodies what it means to be a part of StreetCar through their vibrant social community and their welcoming of newcomers.
This year the Club plan to host a diverse calendar of events including: a Targa in April, a round of the NI Autotest Championship and an AutoSOLO & Charity BBQ.
Whether you’re looking for something different or simply to get started, there are plenty of exciting opportunities to immerse yourself in StreetCar competition at Dungannon Motor Club.
