Cannock return to Curborough
Cannock & District Car Club have announced the running of the 4th round of the highly sought after Wheelspin Series during National Motorsport Week on Sunday 14th July.
There is expected to be a strong junior presence battling it out on the tarmac at this event. We will be checking back in on the ‘star in the making’, 14-year-old Liam Brotherhood. Liam has taken the Cannock AutoSOLO scene by storm after a very impressive first year competing with StreetCar. On Sunday 14th, Liam will be vying to take top spot after continuing to make waves at the famous Curborough Sprint Course.
Fellow young driver, Will Cavendar has also burst onto the Cannock & District Car Club scene after competing in StreetCar for the first time this year. On his very first Autotest, Will took home the accolades of fastest junior, fastest novice, and first in his class. With both young drivers taking top three finishes this year, we anticipate very close competition at this event.
This event will also feature Nik, and Chris Cowles, who are familiar to StreetCar readers after featuring in the ‘a matter of milliseconds’ story, which highlighted just how close their competition has been. The pair will be competing for not only the win, but more importantly, family bragging rights.
With National Motorsport Week on the horizon, this presents itself as a great opportunity to try out StreetCar for the first time! Watch below to see what you can expect:
