Club Together – Southern Car Club
With National Motorsport Week coming to a close on the 21st of July, our Club Together highlights a StreetCar Club breaking ground as they host a brand new event at the notorious Thruxton Circuit.
Southern Car Club are an energetic and welcoming StreetCar Club, based in the South of England. The Club boasts a large variety of competitive events, including: AutoSOLOs, road rallies and even the Forest Rally Stage at the Festival of Speed. When members aren’t competing, they enjoy an active social community. With a treasure hunt and BBQ scheduled on the 28th of July, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved!
For all those with a love of AutoSOLOs, Southern Car Club will be using their expertise to host an exciting event at the Thruxton Circuit. On the final day of National Motorsport Week, the Club will be introducing this event to provide an opportunity for both experienced competitors and those new to motorsport, to compete in StreetCar. Southern Car Club anticipate a large number of novice drivers at the event as they provide a platform for first timers to ease themselves into StreetCar competition.
The Club will be on hand to guide all those through the process of competing for the first time, from assisting with signing on and scrutineering, to walking and driving the course. The Club will be assisting at every step of the way.
