Cross Country is a great discipline if you are looking to get the whole family involved, so, for this month’s Club Together, we are highlighting a StreetCar Club that hold family and friends at the heart of everything they do…

Aylesbury Land Rover Fanatics Club (ALRFC) are a new StreetCar Club who displayed just how exciting off-road motorsport can be when they attended the inaugural 2024 StreetCar Festival. Their ethos revolves around creating a family friendly community and hosting exciting off-road events to encourage newcomers to experience the sport they love.

Throughout 2024, the Club utilised their extensive Cross Country experience to run expertly organised Treasure Hunt events. As the StreetCar Festival displayed, a Cross Country Treasure Hunt is an entry-level event, requiring participants to negotiate challenging terrain in the pursuit of finding each punch station. The winner being the individual who collects the most punches in the allotted time.

Aside from the exciting Cross Country events that the Club run, they also maintain a buzzing social life away from motorsport, hosting bowling nights and BBQs, alongside attending a number of shows to talk about their fantastic Club.

Club Chair Rachel Taylor summed up the Club perfectly, as she commented, “ALRFC is a friendly, fun loving, family/friend orientated Club for all to enjoy, from the novice to the experienced driver.”
