Meet the clubs at the Scotland Streetcar Festival!

From touring assemblies to thrilling passenger rides, this year’s Scotland StreetCar Festival is set to showcase the energy, variety and community spirit of grassroots motorsport. Supported by two Motorsport UK recognised clubs, the festival is your chance to discover the people and organisations making motorsport more accessible, welcoming and exciting across Scotland.

Saltire Rally Club is helping drive this year’s Scotland StreetCar Festival. Based in Perthshire and active for more than 20 years, the club has built a strong reputation for delivering a packed calendar of events, from navigational rallies to autotests. With a diverse membership and a commitment to creating opportunities for everyone, particularly the next generation of motorsport enthusiasts, Saltire Rally Club continues to play an important role in growing grassroots motorsport in Scotland.

Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, Saltire Rally Club will be hosting the FIA Eco Rally in Dundee on 1st–2nd August. On Sunday 2nd August, the club will lead a non-competitive touring assembly, giving participants the perfect opportunity to experience the enjoyment of organised motoring while exploring the local area in their everyday car.

Glenrothes Motor Sport Club will also be at this year’s festival, offering visitors the chance to experience thrilling autoSOLO passenger rides. Based in Fife, the club organises a wide range of events throughout the year, including its popular ‘Bacon and Brakes’ autotest series, which runs throughout the summer and provides a fantastic introduction to grassroots motorsport. With more than 50 years of experience, the club will be giving attendees a taste of the precision and excitement of autoSOLO from the passenger seat.

Whether you’re completely new to the sport or already part of the motorsport community, the Scotland StreetCar Festival promises something for everyone. With experienced clubs, exciting activities and a friendly atmosphere, it’s the perfect opportunity to get involved, meet like-minded enthusiasts and experience the best of Scottish grassroots motorsport.
