From celebrating 111 incredible events to showcasing how to get involved, we hope you enjoyed the 2025 edition of National Motorsport Week. Running from the 10 to the 20 July, the 10-day campaign saw our StreetCar Clubs deliver 30 events and continue to encourage new people into the sport.

Club Together – Knutsford & District Motor Club

In celebration of National Motorsport Week, Knutsford & District Motor Club (KDMC) hosted a free-to-enter Motorsport Taster Day, aimed at encouraging newcomers to try grassroots motorsport using their everyday road cars. The event was a fantastic success, drawing over 32 participants, many of which were experiencing motorsport for the first time. With a friendly atmosphere and plenty of smiling faces, seven attendees even signed up as full club members by the end of the day.

Two of the winning teams from the UK-wide rounds of the StreetCar British ecoRally will be heading to Dundee to compete in ecoRally Scotland – truly progressing from StreetCar Club event to FIA World Championship driver in under six months.

The first StreetCar Festival of the year!

The Gloucestershire hill climb was the perfect setting to kick off the StreetCar Festival for 2025 as this iconic venue, situated amidst the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, accommodated for everything StreetCar is about. Across the weekend the event facilitated a host of StreetCar disciplines, including Autotest, Rally, and Car Trial, showcasing affordable and accessible motorsport.

Electrifying results from round one of the StreetCar British EcoRally  

On Saturday 26 April, the first StreetCar British EcoRally event set off from the Scottish Sporting Car Club for the curtain raiser of the StreetCar British EcoRally and produced a superbly executed event. On a misty Scottish morning, four crews took on Rallye-Donia seeking victory and a £100 discount off their entry to EcoRally Scotland. For most crews, this was their first experience of rallying, and the event provided them with a simple, yet exciting entrance into the sport.

Following a record attendance for 2024, the StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship is back for 2025, introducing accessible motorsport opportunities to disabled drivers across the UK. Created by Motorsport UK in partnership with Loughborough Car Club, the scholarship aims to make the sport more accessible for disabled participants, drawing on the success of the StreetCar initiative – celebrating grassroots motorsport opportunities for all.
