As the 2024 StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship comes to a close, we look back on what was a successful season for Dominic Pearson. Dominic has always been interested in motorsport, however it wasn’t until he attended the StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship assessment day in 2024 that he had the chance to get behind the wheel.

StreetCar was created with the intention to showcase the accessible routes into motorsport for all. It is therefore fitting that for this month’s Club Together, we highlight Loughborough Car Club and their efforts to make motorsport more accessible.

Following a record attendance for 2024, the StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship is back for 2025, introducing accessible motorsport opportunities to disabled drivers across the UK. 

For this month’s Club Together, we highlight one of the founding StreetCar Clubs and the continuous efforts they make to encourage inclusion within grassroots motorsport.

The ‘Womens Autotest Taster Day’ was formed to provide a unique opportunity to experience many different sides to motorsport, but most importantly, the excitement of an Autotest.

Forty students signed up to join an event held at Queen Mary’s University, London, introducing students to the StreetCar and Race for Diversity initiatives last week.

The British StreetCar EcoRally – from StreetCar Club event to FIA World Championship driver in under six months.  

For this month’s Club Together, we travel up to Scotland to visit the club hosting the curtain raiser for the StreetCar British EcoRally. Scottish Sporting Car Club are a vibrant club based in the Clyde Valley area, that have taken the opportunity to host the opener of the StreetCar British EcoRally in their stride.
