StreetCar Festival Northern Ireland is heading to Kirkistown Circuit this September, bringing together local motor clubs, accessible grassroots motorsport and plenty of opportunities to get closer to the action.
Taking place alongside the Kirkistown End of Season Car Race Meeting on 26 September, the festival will showcase just how many ways there are to enjoy and get involved in motorsport across Northern Ireland.
Thoroughbred Sports Car Club (TSCC) will be joining Motorsport UK at the event, giving visitors the opportunity to experience grassroots motorsport first-hand with AutoSOLO passenger rides. With more than four decades of experience across disciplines including autotests, hill climbs, sprints and racing, the club represents the variety and community at the heart of grassroots motorsport.
The festival will also welcome a touring assembly into Kirkistown, organised by The Autotest Drivers Club and Norn Iron Classic Minis Club. Bringing together local motoring enthusiasts and classic Minis, the route will finish at the circuit as part of the day’s activities.
The Autotest Drivers Club has been supporting and promoting Autotest in Northern Ireland since 1980, helping both newcomers and experienced competitors enjoy a discipline built around precision, car control and skill. Norn Iron Classic Minis Club will bring another side of Northern Ireland’s motoring community to the festival, celebrating the iconic Mini and the people who continue to enjoy them.
