A factory for navigators

A prestigious StreetCar Club in the North of England has developed an assembly line for producing some world class navigators. Everyone has to start somewhere, learning and developing the skills it takes to perform on the big stage does not happen overnight. Club Together – Loughborough Car Club

For this month’s Club Together segment, we visit a Club at the very heart of motorsport in the East Midlands. Loughborough Car Club have been part of the StreetCar family from the very beginning and have continued to embody what it means to be a StreetCar Club.

StreetCar at The Motorist

On the 27^th of April our StreetCar MINI had the pleasure of accompanying De Lacy Motor Club and Ilkley & District Motor Club at the Rally Legends Meet at The Motorist in Leeds.

StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the introduction of the StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship. Motorsport UK, in partnership with Loughborough Car Club and the FIA Sport Grant Programme will launch this initiative on the 11^th of May to give a number of Disabled Drivers an opportunity to experience motorsport.

Club Together – Bournemouth and District Car Club

Club Together aims to give a spotlight to our fantastic StreetCar Clubs and all the work they put into welcoming newcomers into our sport. Therefore, we must draw your attention to Bournemouth & District Car Club (BDCC) in the South of England that displays an incredibly welcoming and active community. BDCC are constantly looking to expand their membership, and do so by providing a perfect platform for any novices looking to dive into StreetCar competition.

Learning the trade

Car control is not something you can learn in the classroom, it is something only experience can teach. An AutoSOLO is the perfect starting point to develop and learn your trade in a controlled environment. Regulations determine that you can begin competing in an AutoSOLO from as young as 14, so what’s stopping you? Read through about how another young driver with a bright future has taken silverware in his first year of StreetCar competition.

StreetCar fosters exhilarating competition across the UK every week, and in some cases, competitors can be separated by a matter of milliseconds! Another gem of a story to come out of the Cannock & District Car Club Community is one that highlights a long standing feud between two experienced and determined competitors!
