Top tips for getting started in 2025

Regulations allow competitors to be as young as 14 in certain StreetCar disciplines, and throughout the year we have seen the benefits that competing in StreetCar can have for young drivers. Becca Challis from Southern Car Club has showcased just how easy it is to begin competing, as she has continued to develop her skills within the AutoSOLO discipline.

Oxford Universities Motorsport Foundation (OUMF) have become the first student-led motor Club to sign up to the StreetCar charter. With the help of OUMF, StreetCar will be able to further showcase the different avenues that students can take to get started in motorsport.

As the Car Trial season returns after it’s summer break, Maidstone and Mid Kent Motor Club (MMKMC) are gearing up for their famous Brian Lewis Trial. On the 29th of September 2024 MMKMC will be hosting their last off-road event of the season, so if you’re yet to enter the exciting world of Car Trials, this is a fantastic opportunity to get started.
