For our Club Together this month, we highlight a Club known for their expertise in Car Trials. Woolbridge Motor Club are a Dorset-based Club that are well established in the Car Trial scene. With the inaugural StreetCar Festival coming to a close on 8 September 2024, we look back on the groundbreaking event. The StreetCar Festival was created to provide a single day to celebrate grassroots motorsport and provide a platform for newcomers to get involved and experience a wide range of motorsport disciplines. Here are the highlights from the inaugural StreetCar Festival.

As the Loughborough Car Club grass Autotest season commenced on the 4th of June, our first StreetCar Disabled Driver Scholarship run of the year took place. The official handover of the Disabled Driver Scholarship Yaris occurred at MotoFest in Coventry to allow Ian Dance to have access to the car for a full season of AutoSOLOs.

As 200,000 motorsport fanatics travelled to Coventry for the much anticipated MotoFest, a StreetCar event geared up to entertain the masses. On Saturday the 1st of June, large crowds swarmed to get a glimpse of what they came to discover was a StreetCar AutoSOLO. With the pressure building, the Loughborough Car Club competitors knew they had to put on a show, and they did not disappoint.

A prestigious StreetCar Club in the North of England has developed an assembly line for producing some world class navigators. Everyone has to start somewhere, learning and developing the skills it takes to perform on the big stage does not happen overnight.
